Welcome back to Epsom Together! The Front Porch will be a recurring feature highlighting people and local events. Much like neighbors gathering on the front porch in warm weather, this is a place to find out what is going on in our community.

You might have noticed that we have a new look! Stefan Wollmar, a surveyor by profession and an artist and graphic designer by passion, has shared his talents with us. Welcome to the team, Stefan! Norman Yeaton named Citizen of the Year 2026

Norman Yeaton has been caring for the Town of Epsom for a long time through his involvement with the Friends of the Library, the Food Pantry, and the Epsom Historical Association.

Norman Yeaton, Epsom's 2026 Citizen of the Year

One of Norman’s biggest gifts to the Town has been helping turn the Old Meetinghouse into a working community space. He helped the Friends of the Epsom Meetinghouse move the historic 1861 building to its current location and has served on every renovation committee for the past 20 years. It seems only fitting that Norman be named Citizen of the Year in 2026 at the same time the Meetinghouse received its occupancy permit,

The Old Meetinghouse has its Occupancy Permit! Fire Chief Stewart Yeaton has approved the occupancy permit for the upper level of the Old Meetinghouse. A big thank-you to everyone on the Old Meetinghouse Revitalization Committee (OMRC) for their hard work and dedication that have made this beautiful building available to the community once again. OMRC Chair Carol Zinc-Mailloux is ecstatic and finds it hard to believe that this day has finally come, saying, “I hope that all Epsom residents are pleased that this building can now be used by the whole community!” The OMRC is developing procedures that will enable town residents to use the building for different events.

Staff Changes

You’ve probably noticed a few changes around the Town Office. Long-time Finance Administrator Deb Sullivan has retired, and Rachel Cilley, formerly the Select Board Administrative Assistant, has stepped into that role. The new Administrative Assistant is Kristin Sarvai. Jessica Quicke is the new Office Assistant and Land Use Clerk, while Meagan Rheaume has moved to the Epsom Police Department. Good luck to all during these transitions!
