We believe strong communities begin with informed and connected neighbors. Epsom Together exists to tell the stories of the people, organizations, traditions, and events that make Epsom unique. By sharing trustworthy local news, celebrating community achievements, and encouraging civic participation, we hope to strengthen the relationships that make our town a wonderful place to call home.
After the Suncook Valley Sun went out of business in 2019, the residents of Pittsfield, Barnstead, Chichester, Northwood and Epsom were left without a reliable source of local news and information and, more importantly, a way to stay connected with their neighbors and communities. Social media has attempted to fill this void without meeting the need for personal connection and sharing. In 2025, a small group of Epsom residents came together to explore ways to strengthen the sense of community in our town. Through those conversations, and the reminder of what the Suncook Valley Sun offered Epsom residents, the desire to create a community newsletter was born. While the effort paused, the hope for a community newsletter never completely disappeared. The idea continued to surface as more conversations took place among community members. Those conversations laid the foundations for Epsom Together, the newsletter you see today. With its focus on local news and stories, the new editorial board hopes that Epsom Together will facilitate a common narrative, and contribute to strengthening communal ties.
No. Epsom Together is an independent, nonpartisan community publication. We are not affiliated with any political party, candidate, or political action committee.
We recognize that every publication is created by people, and no one is entirely free from personal perspectives. For that reason, we are committed to fairness, accuracy, respectful dialogue, and providing balanced coverage whenever we report on matters of public interest. During election seasons, we strive to provide equitable opportunities for local candidates to share information and for voters to learn about the issues affecting Epsom.
