Accuracy & Transparency

We prioritize objective facts and evidence. We verify information through multiple reliable sources and promptly correct any errors in a timely manner. We separate opinion and commentary from news reporting, and we identify our sources whenever practical.

 

Fairness

 

We seek to provide balanced coverage of civic issues and public controversies while presenting relevant perspectives to help readers understand issues important to our community. We will provide information to inform Epsom voters without endorsing specific candidates or issues.
 

Community Dialogue

We emphasize stories that highlight local service, explain government functions, celebrate history, and help neighbors solve problems. Editorial decisions remain independent of sponsors, advertisers, and donors.
 

Reader Submissions

Submission Guidelines

We welcome submissions in the form of Editors to the Letter or contributing articles from Epsom residents, schools, local businesses, and nonprofits. Accepted content includes community news, events, volunteer opportunities, local history, personal stories, youth achievements, and photographs. Content & Review Standards

• Editorial Discretion: Editors reserve the right to approve and revise submissions for clarity, length, and factual accuracy while preserving the author's original intent. Submission does not guarantee publication.

• Letters to the Editor: Letters will contribute thoughtfully to community dialogue. We will not publish content containing personal attacks, misinformation, or abusive language. Anonymous letters will not be published.

• Photographs: Contributors must own or have explicit permission for any submitted images. Editors may crop photos for layout purposes but will never materially alter their context or meaning.

• Corrections: If you spot a factual error, please contact us. We will update online versions and acknowledge significant corrections promptly.
